Made to celebrate my 1789th follower on Twitter How to animate a flag:

- Draw a first line waving, find reference on video if needed, try to get a nice wavy motion. Any angle can do depending on what you want. It's going to be the top of the flag.
- Duplicate the line, lower it to the level of the bottom of the flag. Desynchronise both lines by 2 or 3 frames in the timeline.
- Draw the missing lines of the flag, give the feeling of wind blowing on the fabric.
- Fill the flag with colour, one side being darker than the other. Here I added lines to make the 3 different colour area of the French flag.

Final step is in the part 2, showing the final result.
