Hi there everyone!^^
I'm here with (finally!) a new Skeksis fanart upload!
This one took me rather long to complete, but I'm quite happy with how it came up^^
I hope you'll all enjoy seeing it!😁

The idea behind this drawing was born from a fun discussion we had with my dear friend about some old pre production notes and lore for the Skeksis, where it mentioned they'd engage in different kinds of matches and tournaments in times before the Dark Crystal movie timeline.
After chatting about this, the idea of drawing an "epic match" but going for a board game one instead of any kind of physical combat or competition remained...and this is the result of that talk!😁
SkekUng and skekLach have a rather agressive board game match while the rest cheer for their favorite contestant, make bets on the possible results, and laugh about the whole thing.
I dedicate this piece to ; thanks for being an amazing friend and inspiring me so much!😃

I'll soon be back with more comic pages, commissions, sculpts and illustrations.

(In case anyone is interested: the materials I used for this one were aquarelles, regular Faber Castell coloured pencils, three different fineliners and a white gel pen ^^)
