First foray into Shadowrun 4e or 5e character creation -- fuck Catalyst games for coming up with one of the most convoluted, self-contradictory systems I've every played or attempted to work with AND have one of the most amazingly designed world-building assets. Basically they need to outsource thier system to someone who can make something semi-workable (5e D&D-esque, quick to learn, complex to master, but ~30 minutes tops). Still playing this guy occassionally, but the system frustrates the entire table to no end, so we're shopping around for better ones to run a cyberpunk game thru.
