Okay, so I drew this guy in wanting to make a new character -- is getting rid of the other two boys that you guys saw in "Lunch Time" now in scraps -- aaand... it was just a concept and everything so I drew it on colored paper. However I started to like it... a lot. .___.

I dun have a software program so I had to save it in MSPaint and imageshack resized it for me.

Impressive shading. I like how the style of this, and the life that is brought into this by the whisping of the clothing in the wind. Great work with the hands, I might add! (though, the back-side angle's position of the arm and hand makes him look like he's slouching. Was that intended?)

x] Oh dear, how you notice these things AFTER you finish them. x] lol It wasn't intended... I suppose the way I made the clothes makes it appear as if he is slouching, but it wasn't intended. Infact, I wanted him to have perfect posture. lol Guess that isn't gonna happen. x]

I always look at things in full-view. (The zoomed-out one's less reliable to show up than full-view too) Well, other than a minor mistake, I'd say it turned out practically perfect.

I know what you mean, a lot of the times I will be waiting to view a deviation realizing it will never fully show. x] So I click on Full View and it's like 1786 x 1583 or something. lol

Yeah. And once the full view finishes loading, the preview has no trouble at all. (Firefox can be kind of a pain sometimes though... if an image won't load, sometimes it compresses into unclickable nothingness and I have to refresh the page)

Yep. 'Cept Firefox has that for a few seconds, then it compresses into a horizontal bar of the same width, but virtually no height. Because it's so short, it's basically unclickable.

Aww, really cute character. I love his detailed outfit, really good work with it. He has really cute, childish face and his expressions are quite unique, they'reinteresting. But I think his head looks just a bit too big on the left drawing. Otherwise, I can't find anything to criticise, really good shading too.

If you added in the entire body includingt he feet this would be more effective. also some variation in head shots. and a side view of the entire body.
if you where to add all these things people would understand the full aspect of this character and would be able to draw it themselves with ease. just somethings you may want to think about when doing a character design sheet.

Oh this isn't a design sheet. No no... I'm still drafting with the character, so if I wish to change something it won't be such a big deal. ^^
Dun worry, a true character sheet will be posted... I just tend to draw big and my scanner is regular 8 1/2'' x 11'' sooooo... maybe when I get an art program back onto my comp I can draw it with my tablet or scan a bunch of images and paste em together. x]
