Trembles is a comic I made about my OC Karma, who is also Chief's owner of you've seen my art of him, and his newest foster: a previously mistreated Chihuahua who was dumped at a shelter for being "too old". The comic gets it's name because Trembles is what Karma calls the little Chihuahua who was originally called "Dumba$$" (reference to the dogs my Mom took care of at a boarding facility she used to work at, and yes that was the dog's actual name given by the owner. The other dog's name wasn't much better either, both owned by the same guy who was an a$$)

Trembles was adopted by two young parents who wanted to get their son and daughter a Christmas gift that could teach them responsibility, so they got a Chihuahua. The kids didn't take care of the dog and he was neglected, he was barely fed and when he was it was a poor diet. Soon after the kids for TikTok, it escalated. The children would purposefully scare him and annoy him to the point of lashing out for views on TikTok. After years of this that once bouncy and playful puppy turned anxious, nervous, flighty, and protective of himself. After he got old and grey he was dumped outside the shelter doors with no food or water, just there. Karma actually worked there in the past and volunteered for the "difficult" animals so he was the first to be asked about taking him in and of course he didn't say no. This comic will follow Trembles on his journey to feel love and finally be at peace.
