Description
Four masks I made as part of a project for IB Studio Art. They represent four different ancient Egyptian gods (front top left): Anubis, Bast, Horus and Set. I based their designs on representations of them in ancient Egyptian art, and in relation to their roles in the mythology. They are made out of very thin layers of acrylic polymer clay sculpted around tinfoil forms, then painted with acrylic paint and with a ribbon glued on. In real life, that gold is obnoxiously shiny. I love it.
These masks are fully functional and I will be uploading some photographs of myself wearing them soon.
