Alrighty, here's another reference page for one of my OCs. This time it's my vampire boy, Azzy~ (though he hates being called that... >w>) He was originally a vampire bat furry named Koumori (I couldn't stand the fact that he was Romanian with a Japanese name. You can see his original design in my old gallery here [link] )

Now, for his info~
Name: Azairu "Az" Prim (Romanian for "Blue One" as in, number one)
Species: Vampire (evolved)
Height: 6'2" (188 cm)
Weight: 173 lbs (78 kg)
Birthday: December 10, 1394 (meaning right now he's 716)
Abilities: cyromancy, shadow manipulation, hand-to-hand combat
Occupation: Thief, assassin, world traveler
Likes: purposefully making people mad, violence, fighting, his younger sister Cici, flying, hunting, flirting with women, traveling and his dogtags.
Dislikes: Losing, being talked down, all of his family sans Cici, sunlight, werewolves, dragons, other vampires, just about any other supernatural beings that aren't him, being called his full name and captivity.

AAAAND :start:STORY TIME

Az was the 7th son born to one of the most powerful dukes of the vampire society and being the 7th son in his family means he was the next in line to become the duke and that he is granted extra power. He was given many lessons to prepare him for leadership and formality, such as language classes, dance, swordsmanship, learning to control his powers and combat (the latter three being the only ones he really paid any attention to). However, Az had no ambition to take over and highly disliked the fact that he was supposed to marry his older sister Lenuta. All of his siblings constantly picked on him when his parents weren't around, sometimes even going as far as to beat him, obviously out of jealousy. The only one he truly got along with was his sister, who was younger than him by five years, named Cici. Just before Az's fifteenth birthday, when he was to wed Lenuta, Az finally decided it was time for him to escape his future as an aristocrat and ran away, telling Cici "Don't worry, I'll come back for ya."

Years passed, and through the use of his shadow techniques, Az was able to avoid detection and he had learned to feed without leaving a trail. His travels had led him to Switzerland, where he had heard word of a Swiss Confederation preparing to attack Morgarten, Austria. Intrigued, he joined in on the attack and that's when he realized... He was hooked. Az's love for fighting had him traveling all over Europe (sometimes parts of Asia and Africa) to join in whatever battles or wars were taking place. During one of these battles he came across a German werewolf named Freyr whom he became fast friends with. Az came to find out that Freyr also had a younger sister, though his had gone missing recently. Az swore he'd help his friend in the search for his sister. Many years later, Freyr had come across a clue relating to his sister and brought Az in the direction to which this "clue" pointed. All of this led up to Az being cornered by two of his older brothers, his werewolf friend standing to the side. Freyr explained nonchalantly that Az's brothers had his sister, and agreed to trade her for Az. Enraged by his friend's betrayal, Az went berserk for the first time, killing both Freyr and one of his brothers in the process. After calming down Az rushed away from the scene. He continued his pattern of fighting in wars until around the 1950s, when he joined an assassination group and began his side job as a world class thief. He continues these "careers" to this day and even now, he trusts very little people due to the events all those years ago.

Fun Facts ^^
Az's cloak is actually made of threads intertwined with his shadow energy. Making it easier for him to "shadow meld"
The cross he wears used to belong to Freyr, perhaps he still considers the werewolf his friend?
Cici is only Az's half sister, and is the result of their mother cheating on Az's father with one of the servants.
Cici was killed by Lenuta three years after Az ran away.
Az's seven six FIVE remaining siblings are, in order from oldest to youngest:
(bold is male italics is female)
-Costin
-Adrain and Aurelia (twins)
-Lenuta
-Dragos
Az CAN go out in the sun without dying, but if he is not covered well enough it makes him very sleepy and has caused him to randomly fall over sleeping.
Az's wings are also made of shadow and can fold meld into his cloak.
