It was a dark and gloomy night with the wind whispering sweet nothings into ones ear. Saga looked as though she had seen a specter pass her by. She spared very few words towards Heimdall and Khaos before bolting into the cave: “You! Please, please stand guard friend, I’ll reward you greatly on my return. No one in or out!”
As Heimdall and Khaos looked at each other, Heimdall seemed to be a bit confused while Khaos had other plans. She need not say another word as Heimdall understood what she had in mind, due to the huge, toothy grin Khaos had stretching from one corner of her mouth to the other. “Go, but be quiet…” He muttered out with a slight grin. She must be rubbing off onto him. “I’ll stand watch.” He said as he stepped slightly forward and sat, keeping an eye out for anyone. Sure, he may be small, but he’s got a big… something. He honestly wasn’t sure what she had planned exactly, but he knew that whatever it was would spark some joy in the dark one's heart and he was ok with that. Sort of.
With Heimdall remaining behind, Khaos stealthily crept into the cave entrance to spy upon Saga and discover what exactly she was getting up to. If there was anything dwelling within the shadows of the cave, Khaos would swiftly find it and give it a run for it's money before they even knew what was coming to them. Khaos was one of the shadows, after all. Would things go sour? Will they still get a reward? Who knows, but something will happen.
