I recently saw the movie when my neice got it for her birthday. She said she loved it and that it was great, so I decided to take a gander, and boy, was it ever so romantic, beautiful and so tragic.
And the Phantom sooo reminded me of myself as in my love life. I had so much to give, including my talent and my love, but everyone always looked at my downfalls.
Even though I was never as violent as he was (Thank God! 
*laughs*) I still feel the hurt of being lonely and without someone..but hopefully...a special someone will take that dagger from my heart, and fill my life with love, life and romance again.

My darling puppy, words alone could not describe how beautiful and meaninful this piece is. I don't believe there is a dagger in you heart...I think you are just scared rejection and the pain it could bring because of your so called flaws. We all have flaws hun. That's what makes us perfect. We will only be perfect however, if we can find peace with our flaws and realize that we can learn from them. I honestly can tell you that I used to think I was ugly. (My mother used to point out everything wrong with me whenever she grew ill.) And I did begin to smash mirrors. But then I realized, I was only seeing it from her perspective not mine or anyone elses. Once I grew out of that, I saw the real flaw within myself and that was gullibility with my mother. Once I learned my flaw, I began to use it to my advantage and once I broke free of her and her hurtful words, I began to fix my hair in the shattered pieces of mirror. But as I said, I don't think there is a dagger in your heart, maybe a lock. You just got to find the person with the right key. But with that, you have to be patient and love come to you. Love finds you, you don't find it. *huggles you*

Oh and I forgot to mention why I called my pain a dagger. Years ago, when I was in 10th, I met this girl, who I fell in love with after several months getting to know her. After then, (to cut a long story short) She invited me to talk to her after school behind the school. This was Valentine's Day, mind you. Soooo, after I bought several roses, I was planning on givin' her the roses and tellin' her how I felt. Well...turns out...we went back like she said, and I was about to tell her...and then....she did something I didn't think possible! She grabbed my shirt, put it over my head, and punched me!!! 
Ever since then, I've seiousely never wanted to tell any girl how I've felt...not even....well....maybe you.

Your memory has touched the dark depths of my heart. I recall doing something terrible to someone. It was in sixth grade, my most bestest friend Paul was the sweetest in the world to me. He would put flowers in my desk, and give me sweet little letters saying how much it was a joy to be my friend. I didn't know it at the time, but he was in love with me. I didn't know what love was, because I had grown up without feeling a tender touch from another person. I also grew up with three older brothers, so in a way I was a tom boy. One day, me and him were walking together near the library when a group of guys that I knew said "Hey Candy!! (It was my nickname because I always brought candy for everyone) What are you doing with that gay wad!!" At the moment they were saying that, he was handing me a beautiful purple flower. I looked blankly at them, looked at him, then dropped the flower and walked away. My peers had gotten to me with only one sentence. After that, I was cruel to him. All because I couldn't understand love and why I felt so happy around him. My confusion fueled my reason to push him farther away. 8th grade came around and me, him and a bunch of other friends were tossing leaves at eachother. Without us knowing, everyone else had gotten tired and left and all that was left was me and him throwing leaves. Suddenly he rammed me against the wall and stared deep into my eyes. I didn't know what to do. I was still confused by the emotion others called love. He then grabbed me up and hugged me tight. Not saying a word, and then he walked away. Tears fell from my eyes and I felt the ice around my heart melt into a puddle of regret. I had thrown away something so wonderful years ago. I never got the chance to apologize to him. Now I'm searching for him. And I won't rest until I do. I had done something terrible, and now its up to me to fix it and make it right.
My darling Angel, your heart is so pure, so beautiful. No one can crush a heart as big and brilliant as yours. God has certainly blessed you with the gift of kindness and love. Everday I look here on DA to see if you left some cute and loving words for me to look over and laugh about. And I'm never disappointed. And I will tell you something else of myself, as I was growing up with my mentor, he called me the granter of wishes. For the main reason that I would try my hardest to make sure everyone around me was happy. Because others happiness brought a smile and a silent happy tear to my eye. And now I am here for you. And I will always be here for you. I give you a special and pure piece of my heart. You have deserved it for being such a wonderful and open minded person to me. You have shown me more kindness than I have ever seen throughout my 18 years of living in two lives. You sir, are the greatest person I have ever met. And I say this with all the glory in my heart, I love you very much, puppy.
