so here it is. what i have been working on since the beginning of the semester... GAH!!!!!

erherm, well this is for my illustration class and the project was centered around Non-traditional forms of art. we had to choose four movies that related in some way to each other and design four portraits of stars from those movies using anything but the computer, paint, charcoal or anything that can be considered "traditional." oh and just to be annoying my teacher said we could use the same material twice...

while others in my class decided to use things like ketchup and tea... i decided to stay away from food and use ripped up pieces of paper. WHAT A BAD F-ING CHOICE!

after all was said and done my fingers hurt from tearing, i have so many paper cuts, and i think glue sticks have become my worst enemy (seeing as how i went through five of them for this project alone.)

a little about the packaging:
the four movies i choose where:
1.) fear and loathing in las vegas
2.) Pulp Fiction
3.) Slc Punk
4.) the big lebowski
the typography used was also all hand done by myself.

the packaging is a dosier that has been modified to fit my cd case, which is a solid cube with the bottom and top removed as to allow access to the cds on the inside of it. the cube is meant to be a center piece type deal-io that in turn can fold up easily and store nicely with the rest of your dvds.

uhh... be sure to check out the portraits i made for these, i left the typography off of them, but let me know if you'd like to see those instead and ill upload them.

all in all about two and a half weeks of work here... i think (is that right? damn im not sure anymore.)
