Part of my character design final. Mostly just flat colors because I PUSHED THE DEADLINE LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS and this is all I have time for before it's due c8
Anyway some of these designs are very similar to my old ones, some I changed quite a bit.

Left to right:

1) Prince Klaus of Arbury: He's a pretty chill guy, very well-mannered and not all that expressive unless he's particularly upset. His father, the king, owes Thorne more money than the kingdom has at its disposal, and Klaus hates Thorne with a burning passion as she proceeds to blackmail and taunt them. Of course, Klaus doesn't realize that Thorne is actually a woman at the time (it's a secret shhh), and when he tries challenges her to defend the king's honor, she easily kicks his ass. Eventually Klaus hears rumors about a girl in town who can allegedly spin straw into gold and hopes that she can help them pay off the kingdom's debts.

2) Rumpelstiltskin: A crotchety middle-aged guy with the magic ability to actually spin straw into gold. He does this the first time for Antonia as a favor to help get her out of a rough patch, but Antonia keeps returning again and again for more of the golden thread, despite Rumpelstiltskin's rising price. He secretly hopes that Antonia will know better and quit while she's ahead, but this doesn't appear to be the case.

3) Antonia: The daughter of a miller and a seamstress who's always dreamt about becoming a princess, and seems convinced that this is a reasonable life goal. After she encounters Rumpelstiltskin and makes off with some of his golden thread and wanting to keep the existence of the strange little man a secret, she lies to the other people in Arbury that she spun it out of straw herself. This, of course, gains her quite a bit of popularity, which she's more than thrilled about, despite her friend Marius' warnings. When her lie catches the attention of the royal family, Antonia is promised Prince Klaus' hand in marriage, which she is convinced is the greatest thing to ever happen to her.

4) Marius: Antonia's best friend with a not-so-subtle crush on her. However, he's much more down to earth than his excitable friend, and worries that Antonia's scheming and careless attitude are going to get them both into trouble. When he hears that Antonia is going to marry the prince Marius is upset, but even more so when he learns that Antonia promised her first born child to Rumpelstiltskin in exchange for the golden thread that's going to allow her to do so.

5) Thorne: The ruthless head of the Black Knight mercenaries. Her father, the previous Thorne, raised her as a boy in order to ensure her right to his position of power, but she hated him and eventually murdered and took his place. Unless in the privacy of her own quarters, Thorne always wears her helmet, keeping up the illusion of being a man, even to her own army. She bullies the king and Klaus, threatening war on Arbury if they don't pay up soon, even though she has no use for the gold herself.
