Tentatively titled Duet, here's the underpainting. I thought it would be fun to do share the piece as I go. This is as far as I got starting it last night. As you can see, I first start out very losely with the composition and basic elements. Once a rough idea of where things are placed I moved on to filling in the more important objects with a light layer of rough local color. The actual colors are unimportant at this point. They may show through a little in the final product but if I don't like them I can always over paint and adjust. Stay tuned to see further developments.
