Description Sorry for the bad quality, this was a project I did for a test pilot's retirement ceremony last June. The drawing was basically a collage of the aircraft 'AJAX' flew highlighting his career as an Air Force pilot. He began flying in the KC-135, then transitioned to the F-15C, and finally became an F-16 test pilot out of Edwards.

I started the planning for the project in December but I didn't actually start the drawing until May. I bought several patches of the units he belonged to and had the drawing custom framed with the patches put inside the matting, which was signed by dozens of cadets and officers. Finally, at his ceremony and to his complete surprise, it was presented to him and was followed by many "wows" and "oh my gods!" Overall it was a very fun and rewarding project and he was extremely happy with the finished product.

Now for the stats:
Size: 22" x 28" on smooth heavyweight paper
Tools: 4H - 6B,
Time spent: Roughly 25 hours (it was rushed)
