A bit of a loner, not many people like to hang round him because they find his talent kind of creepy.
Very passionate about his craft, he thinks all his dolls and puppets are cute, and is shocked when other people don't think so.
Summary-
During his childhood, his parents weren't really around to take care of him, so he moved in with his Grandparents on their farm in Kansai. Imamura's Grandad is actually the one who made the ventriloquist puppet he carries all the time!
After watching his Grandad make dolls and puppets, Yasushi quickly developed an interest in the craft and was soon creating his own! This is what eventually made Hope's Peak Academy seek him out and grant him the title of 'Ultimate Puppeteer'
