A quick little something for myself. As a treat.

Thinking of Wolf and Puffin and where I wanna take it story wise + a few other scenarios that have spawned from it so have Ben and Sam. Ben is a reaper, a size shifting being who is tasked with hunting and devouring the souls of the damned that manage to cheat death. Given one of his alternate forms being that of a huge black dog, he's often mistaken for a Barghest by townsfolk that see him passing through the woods on his travels.

He was once human himself but after being tricked into a much longer life span than he expected he took up the occupation for the benefits (aka powers) and because there wasn't much else to do.

Sam is her usual fantasy baker self, who gets caught by a monster in the woods... but luckily for her, they were on Ben's menu. Unluckily for her... Ben likes her bread. And he makes a point to swallow all she makes. Or maybe he just wants to annoy her.

Hard to earn a living when a size and shape shifting monster eats all your wares. :'T

Ben and Jacob have a history. And it'll be explored when they eventually meet. In the mean time Ben is busy harassing his pet baker between jobs. Picture him with Karl Urb*n's voice cause his main influence was Butcher at the time I started developing him.

I absolutely gave Ben that bad habit of eating Sam's food cause I'm counting calories TvT Need to make or commission a ref of him some time soon.
