Love the colors, they're so soft and delicate, which is slightly ironic considering she's holding a sword and more than likely knows how to use it.

when I first saw this I didnt really like it, but I've looked it again, and the more I look the more I like it. I really like the stylization, the text, the detail, the background and the great colours. This is great, keep up the good work.

The interpretation of inks to color transitioned very well, nice piece.

I am floored and humbled. That is spectacularly beautiful. The detail is exceptional. Her face could be JUST a little bit more expressive, as Puckthewanderer said. I would also have her looking directly at the reader. A direct stare is more intence than looking away, would add just that much more umph to this picture. And maybe a few forehead creases. Not too many, but maybe between her eyebrows. It would show the intencity of her concentration. And make her look very angry.
The coloring is very good too--Kudos to your colorist. The only thing there is the pastel background clashes with the reds and blacks of the character. The background is very peaceful and idelic, while the character is dressed for battle and looks like she can't wait to cut through a few dozen orcs--or whatever it is she's going to use that sword against. I'd match the background more to the character.

Love the detail on the character and the pose is very natural. Pauldrons seem a little large, or perhaps to far back, at any rate a little uncomfortable, and I wish the eyes were a bit more expressive. The backround seems a little out of place because of the lack of detail that is present in the rest of the drawing, which has the effect of making the character feel too dark, or out of place. Constructive critisism aside, all-in-all a very nice peice. Love the hair and the folds in the cloth, very realistic in the way they fall.
