"I hope you came prepared, Power Ponies. For your sake, at least..." Chitin read High Heel's last words, doing his best impression of the villains, followed by a dramatic "To Be Continued..."

"When does the next issue come out, brother?" Smoky asked.

"I think it's supposed to come out early next month," he answered, glancing over at his calendar. "Yup, next month?"

"Well, could we read another issue in the meantime, preferably one with High Heel?" the little filly gave her brother a warm smile, one she knew he couldn't say "no" to.

Chitin chuckled. "You really seem to like her, don't you?"

"Well, I do find her use of shoes as a weapon to be quite interesting," she admitted.

His horn alight, Chitin levitated one of his many comics over to him. "In that case, then why don't we read her origin comic. I don't think I ever read this one to you, did I, Smoky?"

She shook her head, moving the previous comic out of the way. "I don't think so."

"Better get comfortable then," Chitin said, putting a hoof over his sister's shoulder and pulling her close, "'cause this is a long one."

Thanks to her friend, Lumos, Smoky Amaryllis has taken up a recent interest in comic books, and she enjoys having her big bro Chitin read comics for her. Chitin is a natural at impressions, so it makes for great entertainment, and sometimes Smoky will join in to voice some of her favorite characters.

Smoky's favorite series to read with Chitin is New Power Ponies, and her all-time favorite character is High Heel. She loves Chitin's impression of her, so she always lets him do her voice.
