Caduceus was born in the forest and orphaned not long after he learned to walk and talk. He doesn't really remember his mother, she tended to leave him alone in a nest while she hunted, and he spent most of his time playing with the insects of the forest. He never left his nest far enough to venture into Bellavette, so while he isn't feral, he knows little about the outside world, aside from stories he's heard from the passing Aurilli wandering the forest. He's very curious however, and wishes to learn.
