You have an image in your head and you can't draw it !! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!
But you draw, you draw, you draw and you have an image on your paper, not exactly like in your head, but approximately ^^ and you're happy at the end !!!

I know what that feels like.
You get an awesome image in your head and think "no problem, I can do that" but when you do start you find that you have a hard time just drawing it, and when you do finish it you see that its full of errors and erase marks on it and you say "crap" or something, right?

oh YES. i do this DAILY. then you wad up the ugly drawing and throw it across the room. Stew in anger for five minutes. Repeat.

Heh... at least you're drawing, tho! I keep wanting to get in the habit of drawing regularly, but I never end up making room in my schedule to practice. Not easy to get motivated to when you have so much sucky-looking output to look forward to, especially when you're as old as I am. x.x
But yeah, I encounter the same thing when composing - my music never quite turns out the way I pictured it in my head! I'd imagine it's the same for a lot of other creative pursuits, as well.

That's very familiar feeling. -_-' Sometime I really hate myself. When I can't get the picture of my head on the paper. It is sooooo frustrating when your own talents aren't enough.

this happens to me all the time ill be in a verry rare drawing mood so when i think of somthing to draw i go to draw and then it comes out looking like crap. and its simmular when i go to photo graph somthing ill have the perfict image in my head but it turns out looking like any other picture that some kid took

I absolutely love teh foxy's expression on the right with his ickle tongue sticking out >< such a perfect representation of having a great idea and the frustration of not being able to draw it xD I love it!
