Bandwagon time
My inbox is flooded with fanart of the three new Pokémon-starters - and I felt tempted.So have a scribble of Fennekin. OMG look it's a FIREFAWKS.
(A leopard seal water starter would have been cool.)
Edit: Yes, I know, there are already different kind of seals, but leopard seals are just badass ; )

Der deutsche Name Fynx gefällt mir ja mal ausgesprochen gut. Aber warum müssen die Wasserstarter jetzt zum dritten Mal in Folge so peinlich sein? Blödes Froschdings. Man hat doch schon Quapsel. Moah. Du solltest mal den idealen Seeleopard-Wasserstarter designen und Herrn Tajiri schicken.

Ja, mit dem Wasserstarter kann ich mich auch nicht nicht ganz anfreunden. Mal schauen, wie die Weiterentwicklungen sind. Ich meine, jaaa, Frosch, halt kein Mainstreamtier, löblich löblich und Füchse hatten wir schon häufiger, aber...naja 8D
Ooooh, mich reizt es durchaus, mich an Seeleoparden-Pokémon zu versuchen. Wären meine ersten Selfmade-Pokémon; Eigenkreationen gabs bisher nur bei Digimon.

Es fällt mir schwer, mir einen epischen Frosch vorzustellen. D: Aber schlimmer als Impoleon kann's eigentlich gar nicht mehr werden.
Oooh jaa, mach das bitte!! Ich hab' früher tausende von Pokémon erfunden, war quasi mein Traumberuf. 8D Habe sogar noch einen Ordner mit ein paar ausgesuchten... nur leider sind sie alle relativ langweilig. Irrrrgendwann werde ich die mal updaten.
Digimon konnte ich leider immer nur bei einer Freundin und deswegen selten sehen. Aber ich mochte Gabumon.

Fynx klingt gut, aber mich irritiert die Verbindung zu Lynx. Warum Luchs? Das ist ein offensichtlicher Fennek, maaaannn. Das Fennekin hätte man doch eigentlich so übernehmen können...
Aber desweiteren Zustimmung zu der Seeleopardendesign-an-Mr-Satoshi-schicken-Idee.

Hmja, da ist schon was dran. Wobei ich jetzt davon ausging, dass der Gleichklang eher zufällig und der Coolness (Funken/Fynken plus fuchsigen X-Laut = onomatopoetisch reizvoll?) geschuldet ist. Und Fennekin möchte ich französisch aussprechen ("Los, Fennekäää!"). Aber beide Namen haben was.
