I prefer another visions of Gandalf before to Ian McKellen but in anyway this drawing is totally awesome and very, very well done.
I mean that Mr. McKellen is a great Gandalf but I'm a fan of the Tolkien's works many years before that the movies existed.

This is beautiful! It looks just like Gandalf in the movies, and it's a moment that really captures his character--he's preparing to do battle, to fight, but the expression on his face is still calm and controlled. I like the difference in texture between his hair and his beard, and his eyes stand out a lot. It's just gorgeous.

Wow...great job with Gandalf...I can almost see straight to his soul through those eyes. I love Lord ofthe Rings like I love no other litterature, and I wish I had the skill to depict middle earth and its inhabitants like you just did.
