I was walking around this cavernous old church that was VERY dark. When I came into this chamber, I was momentarily blinded by the sudden sunlight... I didn't even notice the guy with the flute at first.. until I heard his playing echoeing through the chambers. It was very beautiful and peaceful.Antigua, Guatemala

HOLY CRAP! I can't believe what I'm seeing, I took a picture very similar to the one here, just withouth the person, in the same church! I went to guatemala two years ago and that very same church was one of the places that my spanish teacher in the town took me to. I saw the photo on todays favorites and the thought crossed my mind that it might just be that dome room. It's a great pic either way, but it intrigued me cause the placement of the window and the light looked so similar. I'd love to talk about the place if u want to, I'm hoping to go back someday soon. If your dare still down there hike Mt. Agua, you will find some amazing photo ops on your way up and down the mountain.

I cant believe you actually just stumbled upon this beautiful scene without setting it up. This is fantastic composition, and the lighting is very dramatic. Beautiful work!

I don't get how this could be sad in any way. I can imagine how high this muscian must be. He is basking in the glow and playing an instrument that he obviously must love. I am sure he is so happy. I do not see sadness in this shot. The solitude is not depressing. It is tranquil.

Antigua is a beautiful city, i lived there for 3 months a few years back, sadly it was before i got into photography. very nice picture, it's beautiful
