Well, this is a product of me thinking about an AU in the future after the whole "Mutant Apocalypse" thing where Don outlives his brothers since he's... well... not exactly flesh-and-blood anymore....Oh yeah, and Fugitoid is somehow rebuilt or something? I mean, it is implied that he's technically still alive... So when he hears that Earth got turned into a desolate wasteland, of course he wants answers - it made sense in my mind that he'd try to repair the artifact clue that still remained to get those answers.
So yeah. It's an angsty one.
