Gettin through the queue...gettin' through the queue...
Ahoo man, I have a several commissions in progress, many of which are near completion. I've been working in a weird cycling motion, picking at several pieces at once. It's hard to say if I prefer working this way yet. I don't enjoy the bigger delays between deliveries that much, but when one piece demotivates me, I can pick right up on a different one and always keep the ball rolling. I hope one day, I find a workflow that I like so much I barely ever want to mess with it.
This design was based off of my client's pet ornate bichir, which are wonderful fish with a unique and distinctive look to them!

Well that's a fine fish design to say the least.
Although judging by the design? I do have to wonder if it's a dragon fish or a kaiju fish? If you could let me know. That would be most appreciated.

Yoooo, this is hella cool! I'd actually been thinking about commissioning you for an ornate bichir/african butterfly fish themed leviathan for awhile before deciding on getting a ref for Roth, but looks like someone else had a similar idea haha!

Great design. I like the color of the animal that way. They are so regal and are a bright contrast to the background. Also the shape is great as the head is built up. Like an Axoloth I think it's a super beast to build a design. Good work.

Oh man, love the colors on this guy! Really feels like a river monster you would learn about in a fishing town, only to learn it's a natural fish species!
