I had this as a sketch for too long! Decided to go ahead and finish it.... for the most part. There are still plenty of things I could to it, but I paint on borrowed time....sigh...Is there anyone here excited about the WiiU?! We will finally get to see a Zelda game in HD. Welcome to 2012 Nintendo!

So excited for the WiiU!!!!! This is just brilliant, though I prefer Link's higher collars, and I'm not really a fan of Zelda's dress being cut so low. :/ Though I guess since she's with Link it seems more sensually romantic then like you're sexualizing her. I love the angle of the lighting, too.

Yeah, I'm kinda excited too.... they don't have many games upon it's release. I also wish it had more power than they claim it does as well.
I had this as a sketch for about 6 months. It just kept nagging at me. I've been fighting myself on how I want to portray them. Realistic or a bit more cartoony with a slight edge. I only get a good week out of a month to paint anything. I think the next time I do anything with them, I'll do it my way and not try so hard to please the masses...... no offense, Zelda fans are sticklers for cannon (Me included!), so I see what your saying about their outfits. I'm glad you still liked it, though!
