The pilot took a deep breath, trying to calm his furiously thumping heart. Remember why you do this, the told himself. He looked down below, where a massive piece of land was lifted up high into the air, with millions of people in a state of desperation. He could not help them. It was too late. But he could still save others...
The pilot bit his lip and raised his gaze to meet the face of the massive monster looming ahead, unimaginably big. The titan's mouth begun to open as if in slow-motion, revealing the fleshy cavern big enough to fit an entire country. The people in the landmass stared hopelessly into their fate, as their home slowly moved towards the giant's gaping maw.
This was his cue. The pilot hit the pedal, and his plane burst forward at high speed, straight towards the monstrous maw. He flew past the teeth, each one as big as a mountain, and the impossibly huge landscape of tongue. His destination was visible ahead, as the light slowly faded as he flew deeper. The pilot took his last look at the bright blue sky shining behind the monster's jaws.
"For mankind..." he whispered... and steered his plane down the titan's throat...
