the full ilustration piece for the czech version of Robin Hobb's Rain Wild Chronicles.
The main character for this one is Rapskal who plays a big role in the story and changes quite soon and quite a bit into a creature called elderling - altered humanoid covered with fine scales. I was actualy listening to audiobook while making these illustrations and i remember this interesting idea. Dragons were keeping humans as pets shaping them with their magic. Cant help but think how people breed dogs. And how dogs are dressed in costumes or their fur is cut sometimes.
