SideTrip : Azure and Alex visit the forest of silence... to hear nothing.

It took a bit longer but I'm getting very experimental. I had a pretty nice photograph which I began the whole process with. Using that as a reference I painted over it and subtracted detail then I added the detail back in through a series of processes. Part of the method is computerized but much of it is done by hand. In the end it's a mixture of both machine and human and this has been one of the themes of SideTrip as a painting series.

Must been a beautiful photograph! This art ist really atmospheric. It has the perfect mixture of realistic shapes and drawn elements to make this picture so interesting. You chose the right colors and the light and shadow leads the eye through the picture.
