Windy Whistles had a unicorn father, but didn't know because her father ditch her mother when he found out she was pregnant with Windy and her sister. As for Now, it's pretty obvious he's from a rainbow family. Finally, as for the silhouette icon. I thought about why Rainbow's parents were so clingy. My theory is that they had difficulties having kids, and they were able to have a children, the baby sadly did not make it. They were of course heartbroken by this, and after a while tried again. After a few more tries Windy was pregnant, and they had Rainbow Dash. Bow and Windy smother her because they were so lucky to have her in their lives, and they wanted to show it but give her all of their attention and love. Not realizing that she didn't like that and need space until she got older
