A clip from a story told by my sister. Wallace the walrus is an ancient being that has existed since before the Dark Ages, having dwelled in the desert for centuries. He survives by feeding on the souls of children, which he sucks out of them using his long tusks. Often he'll eat their bodies for a crunch afterwards; it's a texture thing. Snek, the green tree python, is witnessing Wallace's great feeding. He came for advice from the ancient walrus, but instead found a horrible sight.
