Description
I read this poem when I was little that was about this flying, purple serpent creature that had a massive jaw and carried little green dragon creatures in its mouth. Some of the lines I can remember as well, and the image was very distinctly ingrained in my head. I can even recall what the little dragons were doing. I finally sketched it out in a horrible way, primarily to visualize to others what I remembered seeing. I only decided to post this here with the smallest bit of hope that someone else would recognize it and give me the title of the book it was from.
