I received the C Bracket I had ordered, today. I had ordered it with two shoe posts with 1/4-20 threads.

This C bracket will allow me to mount my GoPro on a camera or tripod. And it has two shoe slots to allow for mounting a lights, and michrophones.

However, while the finish was good, the fit was not. The forks where the GoPro fittings go into were bent out. I was able to adjust them in with the use of mu bench vise, and a flat head screwdriver. It took some finessing, due to the design. Bending one side in would open the other side. So I aligned one side, installed a GoPro link, then aligned the other side. The links, and GoPro now slot in. and will stay in place, with friction, when I tighten the knobs.

So, I put a shoe base on the bracket, GoPro in the bracket, and my LED light in the shoe slot on the top, to check out fit.
