Nicknames: Fargus The Unmoving
Age: 26
Blood Type: A
Citizenship: Elite Citizen
Position: “Homeland Guardian”
Skills:
Above Average Strength
Enhanced by Sonic, Fargus strength is 10x that of an average hedgehog. Allowing him to pick up the equivalent of an occupied hovercraft.
Hand to Hand Combat
Proficient in unarmed combat as required by Freedom Fighter training.
Advanced Chaos Emerald Powers
Some regenerative properties
smaller wounds can recover quicker if Fargus is given a few moments to concentrate on the injured area.
“Black Tortoise” (Black emerald)
A temporary shield created from the loaned Black Emerald Power - acting as metamorphic armor that can protect a small formed area from physical attacks. Fargus can use this ability while moving.
"Earthly Body" (earth element)
Using the corrupted lesser Green Emerald power Fargus can transform himself into dirt and rock, shaping it to his choosing. This allows him to quickly dodge or withstand full body attacks that might otherwise kill him. He can however not move while using this ability. Mitigating this takes creative planning such as allowing the wind to relocate him before reforming and attacking once more.

Biography:
A verteran of the Robotnik War, Fargus has been in combat almost his entire life. Working together with the Freedom Fighters he offered his talents to help stop the reign of terror that kept the citizens of Mobotropolis in it’s grasp.
During the final attack on Robotropolis Fargus was tasked to lead a small group of rebels into the forest to dispose of any of the Doomsday Devices that they came across. The imperativeness to stop them before they reached Knothole was critical; Fargus’ team swept the upper valle and ensured they led any they found away before removing them with the destructive metal eating powders.
Seemingly however, Robotnik’s forces still found their way into Knothole and before Fargus was able to return the village had been destroyed. When he was able to return he found his home gone and most of its citizens vaporized.
Finding any of the survivors he could he helped lead them further into what they hoped would be safe territory inside the Great Forest. Being one of the few able bodied he was unable to abandon them and could only wait for Sally and Sonic’s return.
His fellow Freedom Fighters feared the worst and some vowed revenge, blindly going towards Robotropolis to face the unknown and each never returned. Each loss struck a chord of paranoia in them and they quickly became used to frequent relocations for fear of their companion being captured, turned into a robot and then forced to reveal their whereabouts.
Finally, months passed and word reached them of Sonic’s victory and domination over the city. Along with this comes whispers of rumors that involve Sonic and his sudden interest in taking King Acorn's throne. There were murmurs of darkness in the hedgehog’s new powers and soon notes of appreciation turned into apprehension. Fargus, instead, saw this as a unique chance to help his old friend bring balance to a destroyed world.
Fargus reunited with Sonic after he gained entry into the city. Fargus was gifted powers to help Sonic protect his new Kingdom, the very same magics Sonic himself now wields. Placed in the same position he had with the Freedom Fighters - Fargus was charged with keeping the boundaries of the Ebony City guarded from attacks.
Known as “The Unmoving” - he is both feared and respected by the different gates of Sonotropolis. In the Inner City he is seen almost like an extension of Sonic himself; respected but kept at a distance because of his fearsome look and propensity to stand stationary for hours on end watching the passing citizens in hopes to hunt down another of Sonic’s enemies.
In the slums he is called “the Unmoving” for a different reason; if you disobey the rules set by his master, he will bring swift and brutal justice no matter who you are, no matter what excuse you have.
Relationships:
Sonic
Trusted friend despite the time away from one another. Fargus respects Sonic’s strength and desire to sacrifice in order to obtain a peaceful balance. Sonic see’s a faithful friend and trusted companion, believing Fargus’ faith is a prime example of what his other friends should have had all along. This level of loyalty can blind both of them to each other's failings. Occasionally, Sonic will confide in Fargus about his difficulties controlling the Black Emerald - this will become increasingly more frequent as Sonic takes in more powers and begins to lose himself further.
Sally
Seen as collateral damage. Her selfish desire to see her father back in control despite his leadership being the cause of Robotnik’s rule is a point of animosity for Fargus. He feels the complex relationship between Sonic and Sally is none of his business and ultimately that Sally’s bratty princess mentality might be in need of some attitude adjustment. Sally on the other hand looks at Fargus with pity; another soul lost to Sonic’s influence.
Bunnie
Almost at consistent odds with one another because of Sally’s position. The most outspoken of Sonic’s followers Bunnie will often speak against Sonic’s decisions much to Fargus’ ire. While they have not directly clashed it’s evident that if Bunnie could remove Fargus from his position she would do so to weaken Sonic’s forces. He tolerates her because Sonic believes he can win her loyalty.
Amy
Treated like a little sister that was never wanted - Amy gets on Fargus nerves because of her over obsession with Sonic despite his clear interest in having a relationship with Sally. Amy sees herself as the only real person who could understand Sonic and hates that Fargus can often converse with him about things he’d never open up to Amy about. In combat situations they respect each other's strength, quite grudgingly and Fargus admires her lust for violence.
Metal
Metal doesn’t like anyone - but he hates Fargus. Meanwhile, Fargus has an interest in the metallic hedgehog to test his strength and to put Metal in his place; he knows that Metal hates Sonic and only obeys at Amy’s request. Additionally it may play a part as to why Fargus mistreats Amy, hoping to get a rise from the mute beast.
Charles
Similar to Sally, Charles sees Fargus as being misled by Sonic. Because of Chuck’s status as Sonic’s father figure, Charles may be one of the only people who can talk Fargus down from actions. Fargus is aware of the loss caused by Robotnik and the Acorn family and believes Charles to be as faithful to Sonic as he himself is, and therefore protects him as fiercely as he does Sonic.
Sonya
While there is zero trust between them because of their previous encounters on opposite sides during the war in Robotropolis, there is mutual respect as soldiers. Each has witnessed one another complete their orders despite the emotional or physical cost, and with that a bond is created. Additionally both wield powers brought on and enhanced by Sonic and suffer the same addiction issues caused by it -- an almost desperate need to cause physical or emotional suffering brought on the more their powers are used and drained. Fargus once saw Sonya as a strong figure when she worked for Robotnik, but her time in Knothole softened her and he sees these flaws in some of the decisions she makes. Especially when Tails is involved.
Tails
Almost like a bratty brother complex. Fargus believes the foxes ideals are too rooted in the original Freedom Fighter credo and lack reality grounding. Knowing that to follow the same path will lead to the same mistakes, he thinks the boy is too young to be trying to shape a world he knows nothing about. Tails on the other hand sees Fargus as an enabler that encourages Sonic’s “sacrifices for the greater good” mentality - a clear violation of what Tails was taught by Sally.
Antoine
It should come to no surprise that Antoine is utterly terrified of Fargus and his seemingly fanatical devotion to Sonic and his actions. To Fargus, Antoine was nothing more than a joke in Knothole and has fallen even further by following Tails.
