May want to download if the image appears fuzzy or hard to read!A simple reference sheet for my DnD character, Kauzikeranth! For those of you who have watched me over the years, the name may (or may not) seem familiar -- she was originally a blue/silver hybrid that I never had the chance to use. Kaz is starting out as a wyrmling in our campaign, but I wanted to throw together a young adult form to see how she'd turn out in the end. I'm finally being able to use her for a DnD campaign that is actually being played out over Halo: Reach's forge, and my DM is our very own ~Shinju-the-Dragon ! Exciting! I get to run around as an elite with an energy sword and jetpack. XD
The style is my own little throwback to Todd Lockwood and the style sheets found in the Draconomicon. C:
Kaz is pretty lanky anatomy-wise, but that's more due to being a hybrid and having weird growth spurts.
This was also a HUGE painting experiment that I'm very happy with since I'll be using it for my two big commissions. I painted over the sketch, so this is actually 100% lineless!

If you're going by 3.5 rules (the first Draconomicon), the player character as a dragon instructions begin on page 141 (lower right page). Just thought I'd add that in as quick reference if you had trouble finding it in the book, it's sort of.. hidden a bit. C:

As I said in my description, she's my character in an actual DnD campaign so.. yes, you can play as a dragon in a DnD game. However, it's really up to your DM if you're even allowed to though, as dragons are extremely powerful and I had to go to the necessary lengths to nerf Kaz down to the same level as everyone else in the party (for example, I had to start her off as a wyrmling, and she will never grow to be an adult in the campaign since that would mean she would out live everyone!).
If you don't have the materials already, I suggest buying the Draconomicon (if you're playing DnD 3.5) or the Draconomicon II (if you're playing 4.0) -- the books have information about what you need to get started when playing a dragon character.

It did take forever to paint! I plan to refine the style further and make the process speed up in time, however. C:
The text is only ornamental to give that old handwritten parchment feel. I only posted the image to show Kaz and the new style I'm playing with. You definitely don't need to read the ref. For some reason though I can read hard calligraphy as easily as New Times Roman, so people being unable to read it is baffling to me. Oh well!
