Okay this is actual the second one for this. The first one actually had thorns and Maleficent was going to be in it. However she's in another.

So what is thorny about this? Well Madam Satan (yes that is her name and SHE was the comic star in Pep Comics for a few issues before it got axed and guess who replaced her??? Archie Andrews).

Madam Satan has a thorny issue-trying to keeo her looks. So she decides to stay youthful by draining the youth out of Archie and some of his friends (Reggie, Nancy, Jug, Midge, Betty, Veronica and not shown Dilton).

And full disclosure-there is a Star Trek Voyager link to this-In the pilot we saw the crew being examined by the aliens in the barn with needles being injected into them. That is what is happening with Archie and is friends.

In fact Reggie's pose was based on Harry Kim's pose.
