They really meant that B&W would be starting anew for sure!"Let's take the ideas from most of the first generation pokemon and design different pokemon to replace them!"
I realise there are many more: region's birds, region's dogs/cats, version's mascots, etc... I just didn't bother to include them.
I actually don't mind most of these. I love the garbage pokemon a lot for some reason (no my father isn't a trash collector.. lol). I also like the zebras and the ghost candles.
but that tadpole pokemon is the ugliest thing I've ever seen! I don't mind his evos but that first stage is in serious need of reconstructive face surgery! I find the reverse for the icecream ones though - I like the first stage but the others look like they belong in YoGabbaGabba with their goofy expression - they just ain't got no alibi - ie. they're UGLY!
The bull and heart fish annoy me the most - mainly due to the fact that they aren't related to Taurus or Luvdisc in any way... it just ain't right!
