You asked for Critique, and allow me to give you the critique =3 Ive been wanting to do this for awhile but i've been sidetracked with everything, but here's my critique and I have been making a thorough examination of this nice picture and heres what I have so far;
Vision) The overall vision really captures Java's tense and nervous emotion as he tugs on his collar and he's about to make a good impression to that lady roo he's courting. The tuxedo, box of chocolates and flowers add a nice touch too, the coloring also came out top notch too.
Originality) I think this has been done before but the fact people still relate to that very tense, nerve wracking moment when you want to make the first good impression to someone you love is still a very classic plot device and like I said; a bunch of other people have the same emotions going through their minds at 1000 miles per hour, and I could imagine what kind of gears and pistons are churning and whirring inside Java's head as he prepares himself. It's almost like you drew him in the middle of a loud "gulp".
Technique) You heard me say this before and your works is worth hearing me say it again. Your works are very professionally drawn and expertly crafted, it's like you dont just grab the markers and shade and such, you tell the markers what YOU want them to do, it's impressive and professional and only a few can manipulate the colors as well as you can, I could imagine what goes through your mind when you drew this piece.
Overall Impact) Im giving this art piece a full 5 stars, not only I'm enjoying your works from the past and present and the inevitable future but I honestly think you captured this scene very nicely! The audience alone could almost feel the same emotions that are shooting through him as we see. Me personally, I want to pop from behind a bush and try to encourage him to be calm, relax, take a deep breath and maybe even thank you for arranging a date with that female roo (what is her name by the way?).
Keep up the amazing works KJ! =3 You're very talented no matter what people tell you otherwise!

Everyone will have to face it, it is a nervous but common sense, so this really works, and it is great as Always!!!
