Unlike you, obviously, people are sick of these pictures popping up on DeviantArt. Because we do not consider this as art from our perspective. This is nothing more than a selfie where she is showing off her body.
She can go on Instagram to post these pictures, she will be one of thousands of people who will be doing that. I know people look at things from different point of views, what is art and what is not. But simply having a camera and a fit body is NOT art. I'm sorry, but you do not have the right to insult people who stand for their opinions.

Artistic references aren't the same as selfies. Artistic references with nude models usually use mid-age people with not super bombshells or fit bodies, just to show the anatomy. Most of these nude references have mature tags on, so if people dont like them. They have the mature settings on, and then the problem is gone. Unlike this picture, there is no way to avoid it.

And the point of the mature tag is because she is showing off her butt, and most of the people in the comments are pretty much saying "put on mature filter, and stop complaining!" but that doesnt work, so easier to avoid all of this arguing is just to either put a mature filter on, OR post her selfies on some other website.
And there is a mature filter on nude pictures/references if you didn't know already, on most of them in any case. And I dont speak with people on the beach, the beach is a whole different thing. Instead of throwing all of their talents and inspiration into a painting or a photo, they could throw all that away, dress up in a bikini, take a selfie and post it here for fame. I've long since stopped caring about this girl or her photo, perhaps what draws me to comments such as these is the amusement in trolling some people on here who have gone out of their way to bash this image for, well, said reasons you've provided. But still does not excuse the action.
Now while I surely understand and even agree with what you are trying to say, the point which I am trying to get across, is that even though to some this may come off as just a "typical selfie of an ass taken by a hot blonde ", Understand that this is one image of her many well taken photographs. She is a women who knows she looks good and decides to be somewhat provocative with her shoots. That's incredibly common in any woman, all women will in some way be provocative, If they know they can flaunt it, even you. Because we all know women wear make-up and get "dolled-up" to go out, inevitably for men just as much as it is for themselves. But I digress.
Main and simple issue I've had was that alot of females ( I say this because ofcourse 96% of the ones who whine about this image are girls) come and instantly have something to say about this and will conjure whatever "legitimate" reason they can find to support their assault. But in the end, it's all in vain simply because this model can take what ever picture she wants, which ever way she wants, and when ever she decides to do it. In the end of the day, this website was created for us to express ourselves in whichever form of art we can conceive as art. It's not fair for this girl to be bashed because her shorts are...too short, and reveals more than it should. There is definitely talent in these photos, not necessarily the model but the photographer knows his stuff. ( positioning, lighting, color balances, centralization, Β ect.)
Another example would be to find an image ( I'll use bleach as an example ) of Ichigo in his Bankai state and then the artist had traced/re-edited/ his pose, body, torso or colors, or hair, or anything, and complaining that it is plagiarism and that he should be banned and that this is not a place for that sort of distortion to an original, copyrighted piece.Β
But it is still his version of art, his attempt at refining his art, and his right to color, paint, sketch, draw as he pleases. (as long as providing the according credentials to the original image.)
Point is, don't get bothered with what people post here. There are far worse examples and places. Mostly, users upload what they deem as art, whether one person or another might have a different opinion. Still not correct for that person to insult or hate on the person's artwork.Β

I do understand that I dont have the right to insult this girl by any reasons. The action is unexcuseable but still, these kind of photos provoke people in different ways. And I do care about the photo, but not as much anymore. What I was more provoked by was your asshole attitude towards me and my opinion of the photo.
Because this photo provokes people in bad ways, somewhat, you should be able to avoid this picture. No excuses, I think people who find this provocative or disturbing in some other way should be able to not have this picture pop up on their deviantArt front page in my opinion. Wether you do or don't see whats "mature" about this picture. Others have the right to avoid it, becauses some peoples standards or how to say personal "options" consider this as mature.
I noticed she had some beautiful pictures, which I considered artistic. (As I said before, we all have different opinions about what art is and what is not.)
But I think there is a limit to what you can post and provoke people with, a sexy hot blonde taking a selfie is just sexually provocative not more than that. If you do think about the composition, lighting and all that other stuff it looks great with effort put in it. But the point of the image still does not focus on the aspect of art itself, all that effort is ruined by her butt in the picture.
I can tell you alot of these people did not pay attention to any of the effort put into this picture, the main attention is the butt.Β
Now I will bring out a pretty rough example, not trying to put Slawa in this, this is just a comparison. But it's like not seeing the differnce between pornography and art. People cant possibly be that blind to not see that line, its ignoring it straight out and fight for what your mind tells you.
For your example of the re-edited picture of Ichigo, me as a person would consider that as a beautiful picture with effort put in it. But still, it would be un-acceptable to not put in credits to the original creator. We all have different views on this example, some people would call it fake and get furious over it. Some would praise this person for his effort and art.
People are welcome to upload everything they consider as art, but still, there are people bothered by it. So why shouldnt they be able to avoid it by a mature filter if it is a mature piece of art. But if it comes to simple paintings, drawings and such things, and dont have mature content in it, and is by no means provocative it should be simply ignored and not be forced into mature filtering.
All I'm saying is to not publish sexually provocative pieces of "art" here. You can do it, but it would be nice with a mature filtering. And I doubt she will stop publishing these pictures because people are whining, and are trying to do something about it. But I think it would be nice if she could take their opinions and requests (such as mature filter) into consideration.
Oh and thats cool, I really, really love Bleach and his artstyle. It's amazing, I recently found someone wih a similiar style of his. Hes not reallt famous, but he made "Apple Back." I believe he is American and is a really great guy.
