You can get Lucien from the Dark Brotherhood questline. He's a reward after a successful mission.

I did the questline, but I don't remember getting anything to summon him. Hmm...must be hidden somewhere with all the rest of the spells I don't use.

Check your 'powers' section in 'magic' for 'summon spectral assassin'.

I did, when I played Skyrim again a few hours ago...now I regret it! I summoned Lucien, and several minutes later started talking to a quest NPC, and the second the NPC began to tell me what I needed to do, Lucien decided it was a good time to tell me a story! I'm very thankful that the quest log tells you what to do.

Oh my god so true xD I HATE it when that happens. It's like "GODDAMNIT CICERO YOU'VE TOLD ME THIS FOUR HUNDRED TIMES BEFORE! AND LUCIEN! I WAS THEREEEEEE!"
I've tried getting Cicero to stand by the door while I talk to people that I really need to listen to..... And as much as he says he'll stand still, there have been several times he does not stay put.... T.T

I call him Buddy because I had no idea who he was when I started playing. I always have him and Cicero by my side. I am constantly summoning him whenever I lose him. Buddy and Cicero, followers for Skyrim life!
