Raul will put the wonder back in you." She imagined herself dragging the Amazon by the hand as the two of them traipsed through her favorite mall. They ran from store to store, the usual horde of security chasing them back and forth as if they were players in some old comedy reel.

"Maybe I should have been an anesthesiologist," Harley quipped as she snapped back to reality. "My patients would have been a lot less annoying."

She squinted at the Amazon's teeth, frowning. "I'm definitely not dentist material."
