Description
Picking the Wrong Fight, 2, Spiderwoman's POVIt didn't seem often enough, Spiderwoman mused to herself, that her assignments included apprehending a hunk of a villain such as Rebel Yell. The notorious thug was wanted this time as a co-conspirator in a drug money laundering racket.
Her mission had gone perfectly. Her disguise and forged credentials had gained her access. Once inside, she had traded the civilian clothes she had been wearing for her uniform. Rebel Yell's bodyguard wad dispatched quickly and quietly. Rebel Yell himself tried to flee and then fight back when she blocked his escape route. Her first strike had subdued him into unconsciousness. She was almost disappointed that his resistance had proven all too short-lived. Knock on wood, she told herself as she dragged him behind her by a handful of his hair, sometimes everything goes as planned. Her car was right ahead. It was a short drive out of the compound to the landing site for a rendezvous with Blackwidow and the Quinjet. As she was basking in her own glory, she was oblivious to the danger that lurked behind her. A costumed woman, moving rapidly and without a sound, was stalking her.
