Two Abductatrons quickly overpowered Mari and her date Trevor when the couple returned to her vacation home. Minutes earlier a taxi had dropped them off at the front gate as they both had been too drunk to drive following their afternoon of bar-hopping escapades. Mari's intoxicated state had momentarily baffled the advanced AI of the Abductatrons at the onset of their ambush. Unable to think clearly enough to channel her powers Mari had resorted to some sloppy street fighting. This unforeseen variable threw off their calculations. An estimate of a 5 second takedown elapsed into 5.5 seconds but the outcome never deviated from their predicted success rate of 99.7%.
