Rapture walked briskly down the hallway. She was late for her boyfriend's grudge match. It had been the grudge between her own ring rival Murina and herself that was responsible for Gerald taking on Murina's latest boy toy. When she had informed Gerald about it, he had seemed somewhat nonplussed at first. She had been aback until he cracked a smile. He couldn't keep a secret, at least not from her. Despite momentarily fooling her with his feigned reluctance, she hadn't been upset. Chuckling, she recalled how easy it had been to convince him once she realized he had been playing her. Her heart fluttered when she reflected on their relationship. She really loved her man.

It was only after they started dating that Gerald had turned his wrestling career around from a jobber to the proud holder of an eight win streak. He credited her presence at ringside to his rebound. "How I can lose with a goddess watching over me," he told her time and again. Her go-to reply was always the same: "Because this goddess does more than watch."

Little did she realize that Murina was about to prevent her from doing even that.
