Vau'an Protectorate Forces

Base of Operation and Overall Strength: Vau'an (Arid Colony World)

                The military and defensive force of Vau'an are often called up to fight off incursions by vengeful kingdom forces, spiteful prork forces, ordinarily-warlike tribals, and more. Like many Space Elf forces, they rely on technological superiority, hit and run tactics, and specialist units, but they also have more than the average number of human auxiliary units to pad their soldier count.

                Vau'an is one of the greatest jewels of the modern Space Elf peoples. It is also the world which has benefitted the most from the great renaissance. Vau'an has always been an open and accepting world, taking refugees from other worlds, and sharing what resources they could muster. When the Kingdom had an entire world bear arms in revolt (which was swiftly crushed), the surviving rebels fled into space on whatever ships and barges they could find. The main force of evacuees (as they were known) was found by Vau'an forces, and given a new home. Though many of the peasantry were transferred to other nearby space elf worlds, a vast portion stayed on Vau'an. Intermingling led to intermingling, and the rest is history.

                The world of Vau'an is vast, with arid plains, and alien life forms living upon it in harmony. The various city sites rice out of the surrounding badlands in large silver and red domes, spires, discs, and other sci-fi shapes. Despite the arid nature of the world, they have vast indoor farms, and great herds of domesticated beasts with which to draw upon for resources. Though their purely-peasantry population is slowly getting smaller and smaller (as half-elves become more and more common), they still represent a large amount of the citizens of the world, and can be found in most fields and levels of authority.
