Description

One of the most famous photos of the 20th Century is one of a tiny armoured train. The railway and the locomotive used still exists today. The YouTube channel "History In The Dark" did a video last year about both the miniature armoured train and the locomotive, a 4-8-2 named Hercules. Recently I decided to revive an old concept I had of gijinka locomotives, and decided to draw some sketches of the gijinka wearing armour. The thing around his neck are his dog tags. The top left is of Herc with a gun, while the sketch below is him rushing to Dr Syn's aid (Doctor Syn, as well as Northern Chief, were active during World War II on the RHDR). At the bottom is Herc angrily cursing Hitler out after part of the line was damaged. Yes, Herc's hair is grey in the sketches, while the armour has lines on.
