5/31/22 - new cover!!! i wanted to feature the main characters more aaand i've grown more and more discontent with this cover as time's gone on. i think this is a big improvement

Bleakest Snowfall is a story based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, borrowing general world building structure from that universe. It follows the young warrior Breezeleap of FlurryClan as he strives to overcome the loss he has endured in his short life and become one of the most prestigious warriors the territory has ever seen. Unfortunately, his greatest obstacle comes in the form of his baby sister, Burntpaw. The remnants of a bond broken by the sudden, gruesome death of their mother sting, and Burntpaw is not the kitten that Breezeleap so fondly remembers. She is stand-offish and cold, holding little regard for the activity of the Clan nor her Clanmates. To make matters worse for Breezepelt, he was assigned as Burntpaw’s mentor as a means to help turn her demeanor around. With an apprentice that seems unable to care less about what Breezeleap has to say - to the extent that she actively avoids training - Breezeleap is trapped. Breezeleap knows he has to figure something out quickly, lest his sister’s behavior become a reflection on him...

I'm really excited to finally start making this story come to life! These OCs and their story have been cooking in my brain for years and I love them a lot. I can't really commit to a drop + update schedule yet since I am indeed in college but once I get a page backlog made up... they will be on their way <3
