an au where everyone has tyrian blood!! so they all take care of gl’bygolb together too. when they get older they'll have to compete in a tournament to decide who will actually be heir to the throne. i haven't decided whether it'll be a fight to the death or not though,,anyway, i've had this idea for a few months now but i was finally able to work up the motivation to get this done!!
also, karkat doesn't want to be involved in this so he just hides his blood colour altogether. he wears the cloak to hide his fins and the band-aid to hide his tyrian-coloured freckles.

I was reading the comments and I got this really stupid plot idea.
Only the female trolls are allowed to compete for the throne, and all the male trolls serve only to take care of gl'bygolb. Males still do have some authority though. Vriska tries to kill Aradia by controlling Sollux, which starts the whole sabotage each other and cheat thing.In the beginning, Eridan helps Feferi, Equius aids Nepeta, Sollux tries to help Aradia and Tavros helps Vriska (under her influence). And then everything go to shit and bleh.

and i actually think nepeta would win -- somebody on tumblr had to break my heart by saying equius would kill everyone else then himself so only nepeta would be left to inherit the thrown

I guess it depends a lot on how they played it out, like Vriska could use her manipulation straight off to knock off half at least half the characters but feel that would be too easy for her... Vriska is op but her desire for a challenge kinda evens that out in the end.
Haha either way, the idea is really interesting and i'f love to see someone write this story...
