Description
This was a project I did from 8th grade, we pretty much got to choose any topic we wanted to research, so ofcourse I chose Green Day. -w- It was a 6 month long research project, we had to write many essays throughout those months and then come up with a poster or powerpoint and present it at the end of the term, expressing everything you learned about your topic. I remember what I wore that day when I presented this--a black & white striped shirt, red tie, black skinny jeans and converse, so I got extra credit. :'D For not seeing this in 2 years, I forgot how proud of it I was to be honest.
My friend Antoinette wrote the title because she has way better hand-writing than I do. xD
But when people asked questions at the end it was so awkward, because all my answers were "innapropriate"
i remember someone asked
"How did green day come up with their band name?" and I first explained that the old name was 'Sweet Children' to avoid answering it, but then he asked again so I had to explain it was because of Marajuana. Smoking joints for a day is considered a 'green day' so yeah, we all know how much billie joe armstrong dealed drugs in highschool. Someone also asked what their latest album was, which at that time was "Awesome as fuck" but i really didnt know if I was allowed to say that infront of the teacher and class so I said their "21st century breakdown" album but then some kid yelled out "WOW ARE YOU STUPID?? ITS AWESOME AS FUCK :/" and then people started laughing and then teacher said I could go back to my desk.
LOL I HATED 8TH GRADE SO MUCH.
