I liked playing with this toy when I was little D:This was a class assignment where we paint a toy from our childhood into an environment. Basically I used it as an excuse to do fan art

I used to have this one too. It came from a McDonald's kid's meal, I think.
I also had Luigi on a cloud, a wind-up Goomba and a Koopa Paratroopa that hops when you squeeze a small pump connected to it.
It was the only time in my life I made my parents take me to various McDonalds to get the whole set.

Oh yeah! I had that toy to from the SMB3 Mcdonald's Happy Meal promotion. It was a very cool promotion. (I especially loved how they themed the Happy Meal boxes after the different worlds in the game.)

I absolutely love the craters along the path where Toy-Mario's stomped.
...and how absolutely imposing he looks. And the way the power-ups are growing like any normal plant: out of the ground. And and and... <3

...oh my gosh, you just brought back my childhood in one toy. I loved playing with this little guy when I was younger as well! I think I actually still have this Mario Spring toy somewhere. This is fantastic!
The lighting is slightly mysterious looking and not choosing to include the eyes definitely gives the concept an air of ominousness. *shiver*
By the way, any excuse to do fan art is a good excuse..
