It has been brought to my attention that alot of people are currently outraged with Tiffany & Co. for creating a CROWN OF THORNS jewelry piece. I have been painting the crown of thorns for years as a symbol of suffering, passion, and power. According to Christians, we should all aim to be more Christlike and my intentions for using the crown of thorns is not necessarily to offend anyone. I often wonder why some people look at a piece of art or photography and choose to be offended rather than try and find the deeper meaning behind it. I feel that the real Jesus Christ who is clearly an anarchist would not have a problem with this. Are you following the god that is manmade or the god that made man? With that being said, there is so much to be truly offended with in this world such as child abuse, war, hate, racism, and poverty.
